    Bratislava, May 15th, 2012 – The continued demand for Ethernet services has led GTS Central Europe (GTS), a leading infrastructure-based provider of integrated telecommunications services, to offer an unified Ethernet product beyond GTS core countries: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Romania. Through partners and interconnections in the CEE region, GTS is now offering a standardized Ethernet Line product in: Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Ukraine and Turkey.

    Bratislava, April 26, 2012 – GTS Central Europe (GTS), a leading infrastructure-based provider of integrated telecommunications services, has successfully defended its contract to provide telecommunication services to the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 112 representative offices of the Foreign Ministry including the embassies in Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia will be linked. GTS has provided telecommunications services for the Ministry since 2009. The current contract for the amount of more than 5 mil Euros provides for the requirements of the Foreign Ministry until 2016.

  • GTS expands the services it provides to the Czech National Bank

    Bratislava, March 28, 2012 – GTS Central Europe (GTS), a leading infrastructure-based provider of integrated telecommunications solutions, expanded the services it provides to the Czech National Bank (CNB) with its GTS Virtual Hosting (IaaS), a part of the cloud environment of the operator. The virtualization solution offers flexibility, high availability of the service, guaranteed security and the cutting edge technical facilities of the provider. The Czech National Bank is the central bank of the Czech Republic and the supervisory organ of the financial market.

  • GTS expands its presence in the public sector with the rapid delivery of a WAN (Wide Area Network) for the Polish National Health Fund

    Bratislava, February 29, 2012 – GTS Central Europe (GTS), a leading infrastructure-based telecommunications operator in CEE, won a public tender organized by the Polish National Health Fund (NFZ). Its objective was to build a corporate WAN (Wide Area Network) and provide Internet access at the headquarters and regional branches of the institution, which provides health care financing and prescription reimbursement for over 37 million insured Poles. GTS won the tender, leaving behind offers from such companies as Crowley, Exatel and TK Telekom. The implementation of the project took only 6 weeks.

  • GTS Slovakia concludes 2011 with positive results

    Bratislava, February 28, 2012 – The company GTS Slovakia, a leading infrastructure-based provider of integrated telecommunications services achieved in 2011 a turnover of 46,5 million Euros according to unaudited financial results. Though the increase in turnover was modest, results for earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased by 19% to 14,6 million Euros which represents 31% of the total turnover. Capital investment of 9,5 million Euros increased by more than 50%.

  • GTS extend its fiber network to Croatia

  • GTS Slovakia Opens New Data Center in Bratislava

    Bratislava, November 22, 2011 – GTS Slovakia is opening a new data center in Bratislava – Petrzalka today with the entire area of more than 3000 square metres built to the TIER 3 standard. One of the first customers to use its services already this year will be Postova banka. New and existing clients will appreciate especially the availability and state-of-the-art technologies implemented in this new data center.
